Annual dating violence training modules are used to help ensure prevention curriculum is in place to build a culture of health, wellness, safety, respect and excellence.
DPI also endorses and provides Broward County Educators the research based curriculum Safe Dates (grades 6-12), Dating Matters, and Get Real About Violence (K-12th grade).
Connecticut: HB 5315 (2010): Includes teen dating violence and domestic violence education as part of the in-service training program for certified teachers, administrators and pupil personnel.
HB 5246 (2010): Requires the Commissioner of Public Health to develop one public service announcement issued by the Department of Public Health through a televised broadcast for the purpose of preventing teen dating and family violence.

The School Board of Broward County, Florida, (SBBC) is committed to protecting its students from dating violence and/or abuse by students.
Consistent with the intent and requirements of Section 1006.148, Florida Statutes, SBBC upholds dating violence and/or abuse will not be tolerated and shall be grounds for disciplinary action in accordance with SBBC’s Dating Violence Policy 5010.
